J'aurai quand même versé une larme pour la mort d'Amy Winehouse, que j'ai écouté et écouté pendant une période sombre de ma vie. Cette chanteuse et auteur-compositrice avait en elle une certaine auto-destruction et un manque d'attachement à la vie, mais en même temps tellement de charisme et de talent que sa voix et ses paroles me donnent toujours des frissons... Une tragédie de se laisser partir à 27 ans, mais il n'y a que les légendes qui meurent si jeune. Repose en paix Amy.

Retour sur le duo dont on entend plus trop parler, mais depuis une semaine je réécoute leur discographie et je me suis dit : "C'est quand même du pur son!" Aller, on retrouver ses vieux albums, ça fait toujours plaisir.

MC Fonzie / Helek / Proke / BeWeaz / un groupe de potes de Paname qui s'est formé au fur et à mesure...
Il y a 4 ans, Helek et Fonzie traînaient ensemble une aprèm et se sont dit "Viens on fait du rap". Fonzie est le seul à avoir tenu sa promesse et a commencé à écrire des textes et à rapper; Helek lui s'est découvert une passion pour le son, le mix et le scratch. Puis deux autres membres ont débarqué, les beatmakers BeWeaz et Proke : la MaxiBeats Production est née. Enfin, Jaubert intervient avec eux en featuring pour certains instrus.
MBP regroupe 4 mecs délirants, graffeurs, ayant grandi sur du bon son, et qui surtout ne se prennent pas vraiment la tête.
La MaxiBeats balance un Hip-Hop de qualité se basant sur le style Old School, pas aggressif, avec des instrus propres et très variées et un flow bien singulier.

Some of us love, some of us are skeptical confronting this unusual musical style for dear Queen-B. I thought it was kinda cool, energetic and the best, Beyoncé claims chicks' power! For once that a diva does not prostitute herself in her lyrics! The video clip is another story though.

En l'espace de 3 mois seulement, ils ont déjà des milliers de "Like" et fans et ont fait quelques concerts en France. Ce sont les nouvelles figures montantes du rap français, avec des bons beats, un meltin'pot de flows et des punchlines bien efficaces. Bref, on aime!
1995 sort son Premier EP "La Source" le 27 Juin, à pécho dans les points de vente habituels en France (ex Fnac...), mais également en Belgique et en Suisse ! Il sera aussi dispo sur toutes les plateformes de téléchargement, en vinyl et en vente par correspondance.
